2017
Total – 50 – planted 6 beds. Yes, I am insane!
Started seeds in early January.
Planted mid-February to early March. Gambled due to mild winter
Majority of harvesting in May this year instead of June.
Varieties: Cherokee Purple, Emerald Evergreen, Wychee Yellow, Green Zebra, Arkansas Traveller, Vernissage, Pink Boar, Barred Boar, Sun Gold, Black Cherry, Celebrity, Polan, Yellow Pear
Vernissage is not a great tomato for eating straight, but great production and good texture for canning.
Polan and Yellow Pear were very susceptible to disease and did very poorly this year.
As usual, CP, EE, and WY are the favorites! Black Cherry was my favorite cherry tomato

Eating tomatoes like crazy. Emerald Evergreen and zebra have been the most productive. Wychee yellow has been extremely sweet, and more productive than last year. The cool spring and decent rain has made this an incredible season. Only a handful off of the celebrity.
I plan on doing less cherry tomatoes next year, way more than we can eat and I’d rather have a another bed of peppers.
