Yep, and the pictures don’t capture how playful the woodpeckers were. There were 2, a male and female who chased each other around the trees. It was fun to watch.
Laura, those woodpecker photos are stunning. I keep trying to get a good shot of a couple of ladderback woodpeckers I see around my yard but they are shy and so busy! I’m really impressed. And that finch! Adorable. Good to have you throw in for Wildlife Wednesday. Looking forward to seeing more next month!
