Eric is in the process of getting a new shop built. I should reap some benefits, starting with 2 new beehives! I asked the concrete guys to please leave me the rocks that they were digging up.
They obliged.
It’s hard to see the scale, but maybe these next pics will help. The two of us, with the help of a dolly, moved several rocks to my front bed. We didn’t even put a dent in the pile.
Goats would sure love climbing on that rockpile. 🙂
You’re right there!
Love having big rocks scattered around the landscape – though it’s not so fun scattering them, is it?!
Nope, makes me wish I had that bobcat Eric is always asking for 🙂
We live east of you and love the ability to dig as deep as we want, by hand, and not hit a single rock. On the other hand, there have already been times in which I had wanted a large rock for this or that. A person could search for hours, days even, and not find a rock on our property bigger than one’s fist.
Yep, guess it’s all about appreciating where you’re at!
Richard would be so jealous about Eric’s workshop. He’s been wanting one for a while. When we finally break ground on his workshop, I’m sure we won’t find any rocks as beautiful as those. East of Austin all we have is annoying gravel.
When do you think Richard is getting his shop?
