Hey – those daylilies match the wildflowers – the Mexican hats! That lantana with the variegated leaves is gorgeous. I’ve never seen those in the nurseries – that’s very cool. That peachy rose is a beauty — does it have a scent? Which one is that? Looking good!
Thanks! Can’t remember where I got the Lantana, but my mother-in-law got one the same day about 2 years ago. They are all doing great. It was one of the south local nurseries. The peach rose is Livin’ Easy, and doesn’t have much of a scent, it is super hearty though.
I’m loving that Lantana!! Is it full sun? That last flower looks like a native Monarda (citriodora or punctata?) and the one before that looks like basket flower.
Thanks. The lantana is in part sun, but would probably do ok in full. I just don’t have a ton of full sun 🙂 Thanks for the IDs. It looks like you are right on both!
The yellow flower on the bottom is Pyrrhopappus carolinianus and the purple on the right is a monarda.
Really love that lantana!
Thanks for the IDs.
