After two hail storms in a week and a dip into the 30s last night, I’m happy that anything is blooming at all. To show just what a crazy spring it’s been, I looked at last years bloom day pics and found all the same blooms for 3/15. I hope summer follows spring and is a month behind this year too. Wishful thinking!
Thanks to Carol from May Dreams for hosting Bloom Day.

I hope you’re right about a late summer. Your roses look beautiful. Lots of blooms for some more lovely indoor bouquets.
You got lucky with your cemetery iris! Mine all perished in March. How quickly has your yellow columbine spread? Do you let it seed itself, or do you sprinkle the seeds around? How did the veggies make it through the hail?
Lucky with the cemetery, but none of my other Iris bloomed this year. The columbine has reseeded pretty well, but only in one general area (about a 5×5 square). Some veggies are better than others, but I think almost all of them will pull through. Thanks for asking 🙂
So many beauties! I have many of the same, but not all–enjoy your garden!
Thanks, just saw you posted yours, heading over now
You’ve got a lot going on in your garden. Love those cluisanas, I have a little clump of those, too. Your roses all look wonderful.
Thanks! Not sure if the twisted leaf is normal on the cluisana, but it definitely adds to its beauty
